beginners. If you're looking for
someone to patiently explain the
set-up and maintenance of salt water
aquariums, this is the book for you.
The author explains all the different
types of filters and other necessary

Bible!
This book, and it's
author, Mike Whickman are truly great at
knowing what we all want from a book. If
you want to start up an aquarium (or even
if you don't!!) you'll want to read this
book. It is very interesting, with lots
and lots of wonderful ideas and facts. I
think pretty much everything I need to
know is contained in this book's pages. I
wanted a good reference book BEFORE I
purchased all that expensive equipment
and boy was I in for shock! I am so happy
I found this to read. I am really looking
forward to starting my aquarium up now,
and I have no fear about succeeding at
it. I will have the power of knowledge!
Thanks Mike W., for a really fun and
intelligent book.

A fun to
read, worthwhile book.
Anyone who is even
considering setting up a saltwater tank
should purchase this book. Mike Wickham
takes you through all the processes of
setting up a saltwater tank, from
choosing a stand that is right for you to
fighting any diseases your tropical fish
may have. Easy to understand, even
beginners will have no trouble picking up
the basics of water chemistry and how to
maintain a saltwater tank that will last
for years.
