That’s what I wanted to do with this purchase, so mission accomplished. I have a friend that has an older set (HDR 130) of these head phones and I tried them out. While all genres sounded better than I have ever heard on a headphone, I found orchestra music to benefit the most from these. Male sure to check your/source.

In a word I did not like it. You could tell it was trying to distill the 5.1 mixes down to 2 channels & frankly it did not do a good job. But day to day, incredible range and quality (I live in a townhouse and I can go between floors). It’s much better than my older RS130. Also the RS180′s fit on her head better than the RS120s which were always loose (and would fall off when she looked down quickly). In my opinion The RS180s are worth the extra $. I finally ended up with the Blu ray of Transformers. Now again I have to mention that my Sony receiver was found lacking. My ears also hurt after a short time due to the foam ear pads. After more research I decided to give the RS180 a try. On the other hand, if the earphone charging station and transmitter were separated, I guess they might both need AC power, which would increase the cost of the unit. There is also a split-second delay between the time you hear something on the TV speakers, and the time you hear the same thing on the headphones.

I’ve got these headphones around Jan 5, 2011. These are my first pair of over the ear headphones (I’ve used IEMS and ear buds before) and first wireless headphones. I have used a Sennheiser RS-65 wireless headphone since 2002. The RS-65 was a pretty good wireless set.

All three buttons are in a 1 1/2 by 3/8 inch space with almost no way to feel which button you want. Not an easy task for any fingers, much less older fingers.

Finally someone delivers and stands up to all the promises. After opening the box I was quite pleased with the build quality and color.

Dual driver models needed for decent bass. I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend’s birthday (at his request).

They aren’t as good as some wired headphones I’ve used in the past but they are pretty darned close. As for the range, they have dropped twice, both times when I went out onto my back porch, and then only for a second each time.

Fantastic sound and bass isn’t too heavy. Comes with an adapter which means you could plug it to your keyboard, audio system, DJ Turntable systems, and so on. cool headphones. The product is marketed as a “sound reducing” gadget. These headphones are the most useful that I have ever owned. B HEADPHONES.
